Not Coincidence
Islamic Design House started in 2005 in the heart of London's fashion and creative hub. A group of young entrepreneurs took on the challenge to provide young Muslim women, who wished to dress modestly, with a real solution - an opportunity that western brands were overlooking.
The absence of a credible global modest fashion label against the backdrop of a renewed sense in Islamic identity highlighted a gap in the market for Islamic Design House and Silk Route Clothing.
Over a Decade As Leaders
in Islamic Fashion
Since 2005 both the fashion label Silk Route Clothing and the retail brand Islamic Design House have enjoyed great global success. Today the Silk Route brand is being sold to stockists and distributors in over 63 countries.
Silk Route not only paved the way into these international markets but as the product lines under Silk Rout Clothing grew so did the requests and demands for Islamic Design House franchises.

Our Growth
In 2010 we opened our own Islamic Design House store in Cairo, Egypt. That same year we opened our first franchise store in Amman, Jordan.
In the last 5 years franchise requests have grown many folds and we now have a portfolio of 13 stores across MENA and Africa.
